Busy Bee Garden Services: Maintaining and Creating beautiful gardens in the Swansea Valley

Tending to the lush gardens of the Swansea Valley, Neath Port Talbot, and nearby regions, I specialize in the art of garden upkeep, design, and landscaping. With a steadfast dedication to environmentally friendly practices, I offer services ranging from a simple mowing to a complete transformation. Rest assured, my unwavering commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction is always at the forefront of my endeavours.

Fair & Equitable Pricing

Any quotation that I provide will be the final amount you are charged once the work is finished. I want to assure you that I will not request any additional payment even if the work takes longer than anticipated. However, if you happen to ask for extra work while I am on-site, that additional task will be assessed separately and quoted accordingly. For instance, if you inquire about trimming a hedge while I am already present to mow the lawn, we would first discuss and agree upon a price for that extra service. If my schedule allows and I have the necessary tools with me, I would proceed with completing the additional task right then and there. If, for any reason, I cannot accommodate your request at that time, I will arrange a separate visit to perform the work at a later date.

Meet the Team

Hi, I am Steve, the proud proprietor and operator of Busy Bee Gardens.

The journey of Busy Bee Gardens began in the wake of moving to Wales for early retirement! Being an experienced and reliable gardener I quickly found my services were required by neighbours (thanks to my wife saying “Steve can do that for you!”) and it blossomed from there. Through word of mouth and personal recommendations I became busy enough that it made sense to become self employed once again, so I took the plunge and started Busy Bee Gardens Services.
(so much for taking early retirement!!)
To deepen my expertise in this domain, I sought and earned a diploma in Garden Design & Maintenance, an esteemed qualification recognized under the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) framework.
There is immense joy for me in working outdoors, maintaining & creating breathtaking gardens and formulating inventive plans that will bring your vision of an enchanting garden to life.
Hi. My name is James and I am Steve’s Son in Law. I help out with the bigger jobs. My passion is playing with power tools, the noiser the better! I HATE brambles and love to use a brush cutter to remove them, brambles quake in terror when they know I’m around. I also enjoy playing video games, Helping my wife with her horses and being Dad to two boy’s.
Hello, I’m Loki! I am Dad’s loyal companion and his right-hand dog, and I love keeping him entertained with games involving my ball. There are times when I misbehave and end up barking at the postman and those pesky squirrels that always manage to steal the peanuts from the bird feeder. I really enjoy digging up buried treasures because it’s always exciting to discover new pet rocks!

I have a fondness for cheese, chicken, and eggs, and I adore going for walks, but my absolute favourite activity is chasing after the ball. Occasionally, Dad has to call out for me to come in and eat my dinner because I get so caught up in playing with my favourite big ball outside!

Anyway, I really hope you like my Dad as much as I do because it means he can work hard and buy me lots of new balls, especially since I seem to misplace them all the time!
Hi There! I hope you’re doing well. Allow me to introduce myself: my name is Sasha, and I hold the critical position of overseeing security in this particular area. I approach my responsibilities with utmost seriousness, making it a priority to monitor every single aspect of my domain with precision and care. Nothing—be it a leaf fluttering to the ground, a bird taking flight, or even a squirrel scurrying by—can pass through my vigilant watch without triggering an alert.

I especially keep a close eye on the postman, who often enters the front garden without the necessary permissions and required clearances, thus necessitating my constant vigilance.

Moreover, should you happen to step inside my residence, be prepared for my thorough inspection, as YOU WILL BE SNIFFED! This is simply a precautionary measure I take to deter any illicit cheese smuggling activities. If it happens that you are found in possession of cheese, rest assured it will be CONFISCATED without hesitation! This practice is humorously referred to as the “cheese tax,” and I enforce it rigorously to uphold the integrity of my watchful presence. Your cooperation and understanding in this matter are sincerely appreciated!

My service area.

I provide my services throughout a significant portion of the Swansea Valley, as well as Neath Port Talbot and Powys. The blue circle represents my main area where I typically operate, but if your location falls outside of this designated area, there is no need to worry. I am more than willing to evaluate and consider your job requests, no matter where you are situated. Your needs are important to me, and I will do my best to accommodate them.
