Additionally, I will accompany you on a walk through your garden to better understand the space and its unique characteristics. After our discussion, I will give you some time to think over any suggestions or recommendations that I might present during our meeting.

Detailed site survey

Once I have a clear understanding of your specific requirements and expectations regarding the project, I will proceed to schedule an appointment to conduct a thorough site survey. During this visit, I will take precise measurements of the site, paying particular attention to its orientation and any slopes or inclines present. Additionally, I will collect soil samples to assess the quality and condition of the ground, as well as evaluate the drainage capabilities of the area.

Moreover, I look forward to discussing any ideas, questions, or concerns you may have regarding the project, including any potential changes you might be considering. This initial assessment will be crucial in identifying any issues that may need to be addressed, particularly in relation to your intended plant selections. We will consider factors such as the suitability of the soil type and the amount of sunlight the site receives, as well as any other prevailing environmental conditions that could impact the success of the project.

At This stage of the process, we kindly request that you make a payment. This payment is refundable from the total fee upon completion of the project, assuming you decide to proceed with engaging Busy Bee Gardens for the tasks related to the project. This approach offers you the reassurance and flexibility of having your initial payment count towards the overall cost should you choose to continue utilizing our services.

Producing the Initial design

At this point, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the site’s conditions. With this knowledge in hand, I will begin creating initial sketches that represent various design options that I believe align with your preferences. Once these initial designs are ready, I will come back to present them to you. During this meeting, we will have the opportunity to discuss these design ideas in detail. I hope that through our discussion, we can collaboratively develop a structured plan, from which I will then create a thoroughly detailed final design that meets our shared vision.

Creating the final design drawings

At this stage, I will have gathered sufficient information that will enable me to formulate a comprehensive final design plan. This plan will be developed through an integration of various techniques, which will include freehand artwork, detailed technical drawings, as well as designs created using computer software. Alongside this design plan, I will prepare a quotation that encompasses all aspects, including the labour costs and materials required to construct the garden. Once we reach this point, if you find the proposal agreeable, we can proceed to make a provisional booking to initiate the work. Alternatively, if you prefer, you have the option to use the design I have crafted but choose to engage a different landscaper or even take on the project yourself.

Construction begins

If you have made the decision to hire my landscaping services, once you have provided a deposit to cover the cost of materials, I will take the necessary steps to assemble a highly skilled team of professionals who will collaborate with me on the construction of any hard landscaping elements. Each member of this team is someone I know personally for their exceptional craftsmanship, dependability, and strong work ethic, ensuring that the work will be carried out to the highest standards. All materials needed for the project will be delivered directly to the job site and will become your personal property upon arrival.

As we progress through the project, the timing of which can vary depending on its size and scope, there will be certain key stages at which further payments will be necessary to cover my ongoing expenses. Upon the successful completion of the project, and to your complete satisfaction, the final payment will then be due. This structured payment arrangement ensures that all aspects of the project are managed effectively and that the quality of work is maintained throughout the entire process.
