Busy Bee Gardens in the Community
Ysgol Bro Tawe’s Canolfan Heulwen is a specialist center that provides support for children predominantly with Autism from the ages of 5 to 11. There are 8 children in the class with all different types of needs. The sensory garden, which has been provided by the Leon Heart Fund, is going to be another safe place for the children to have an outdoor space in a secure environment where they are able to play, explore and regulate their emotions.
Busy Bee Garden Services are proud to have been a part of this development by donating our time to assemble the play equipment.

A lovely lady customer was struggling to keep on top of the garden so she called me in to tackle it. With the help of my assistant we removed all the weeds from the beds (over 200kg!), Cleared up the remains of last years leaf fall, put down weed control membrane and barrowed in over 4000 litres of wood chip before finishing of with a thorough power wash on the patio. She is very happy with the results and has re-found her gardening mojo.
